Somebody stop me, seriously. I keep eyeing black wedges and obsessing about them til they become mine. They look great with everything, casual enough to not feel overdressed, polished enough to not feel slobby. Here are the top 5 on my wishlist, in no particular order.
However, these booties are actually my number one. I've been stalking them since Baleciaga showed them on the runway in '06. I missed the boat when Sam Edelman released his version, but after gushing to just about everyone re: this bootie, I was the first person Little Miss Whimsy called when she saw he reissued it this season. I went straight to Bloomies to try them on, and am happily twiddling my thumbs 'til they arrive.

These gems from forever are actually surprisingly decent quality- and on sale for $14!! There are a few versions of this- (Nine West has it with smooth leather and a skinny heel) but I'm particularly pleased with the snakeskin texture and sleek but wide heel. I'm trying to cut back on my studs, but these buckles give a bit or a rocker vibe without being too overt. They even remind me a little of those cowboy buckles that will be everywhere come fall.

These E&J wedges are so minimalist modern. It's so not my style, but I'm totally drawn to them. I can only aspire to be so avant garde and structural. These Margiela-esque beauties could really add some depth and sophistication to my ensembles... I'm thinking I may try and wait it out til someone marks them down.
ELIZABETH & JAMES
Possibly the most perfect laceups... how can I curb my enthusiasm?! Do I really need all 5 pairs?
YES.
DOLCE VITA CALISTA
These just came in the mail yesterday. I'm not sure that I can wear these with bare legs, however I'm can't wait to pair these with skinny jeans, leggings or opaque tights
